What's My Politics?
We all want the same things in life. We want freedom; we want the chance for prosperity; we want as few people suffering as possible; we want healthy children; we want to have crime-free streets. The argument is how to achieve them… -StudentNewsDaily
I can't really say that I am a liberal or conservative, but I do tend to lean more towards the liberal side of beliefs. I think that our government should be responsible for the majority of the running of America. Millions of people cannot control each other, and we should not be responsible for setting the work standards and how much money we pay, etc. I also believe extremely passionately about freedom of choice. The things that I do not believe in on the liberal side of the political line is gun control, global warming acts, and not supporting the death penalty. I'm sure there are other things that I do not agree with fully, however those are the main ones. I guess I don't really have a political party. I wouldn't call myself a democrat or a republican. I just think that we need to lean to the side that is going to do the most good for our country, but when it comes to beliefs I do believe more in the liberal view. And that's my politics in a nutshell!

I'm a very liberal person too and I don't really identify with either of the two parties either. I think that the separation of the two parties causes too much conflict with people. During the 2008 election I told my friends, who were 18+, that I would vote for Obama if I had been old enough. Well they didn't like that too much because they were primarily conservative and they treated me differently after that. Politics, religion, and race are just a few ways we separate ourselves from each other, and move further away from excepting people as they are. This is one reason why I can avoid these discussions as much as possible.
